ISB in FT top 20

ISB just reached top 20 in FT global school rankings!!!

I am elated and I am concerned. This rating is a testament to the vision and execution by the entire ISB team/management. They have shown that given clear direction, and enough autonomy, the world can be conquered.

Too many times have i seen comparisons with IIMs/MDIs and XLRIs. While all of these institutions are serious brand names and boast of great Alumni list, ISB was always running a different race. So its time to put the first tick-mark on the global domination checklist.

I am concerned since this as we have won just a battle and not the war. What we have done is to pull a mammoth rabbit out of the hat. We should make sure that we derive maximum mileage out of this and attract serious international MBA aspirant crowd. More importantly we should use this rating to increase faculty/researchers aggregating at this great place. The real competition is not going to be fought on newspaper pages but on the recruiting grounds.

And here it starts again

Somehow, I always thought that I will end up writing blogs. Somehow, I always thought that I will know when I would start writing. Somehow, I think that time has arrived.
